We use milestone-based monthly retainers. At the start of each cycle, we agree on what’s being delivered that month. At the end of the cycle, we demo what was actually built, not just report on progress, and scope the next month based on results and priorities. You always know what you’re paying for before the work starts, and what you got before the next invoice arrives.
